Galaxy S25 vs Others....a discussion thread

After having been disappointed with a Google Pixel 8 (small screen, so-so speakers, washed out display, so-so performance) i bought an iPhone 16 Pro. I sold it as i miss Android.

My question: Which phones would be a good/modest upgrade* over the Pixel 8?
Pixel 9a

Poco F7 Pro

Galaxy S25+

* my priorities are specs that are more better (albeit slightly) than the Pixel 8 on cameras, performance, battery life, speakers & audio, etc.

Have some hands on with a Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ series phone and I'm sure you'll soon see how powerful these phone's are.

If you are not interested in the SPen, I believe the S25 Plus can make you happy, phones in the S25 series are pretty similar speed wise and camera quality, they all have the latest AI features, but if you get the S25 Ultra you get some extra features as well, especially in the camera.

In contrast to others, the Chinese phones do have better hardware and specs than the s25 series. Better cameras and batteries. But the s25 series has way better software than any other phone. The s25 series also has a faster version of the fastest available chip

I find the Ultra range to be big, tall and heavy for my hands.
