GALAXY S25 EDGE LET'S TALK.

Unpacked event revealed new s25 edge device which in my guess will be all waited "slim edition" but for some reason they went with "edge" and brought back name from galaxy 6 edge series, rumours are a lot of competition will bring "slim" devices this year but what's your take on this? 

There's not much was said, and people wasn't allowed to touch the demo unit, but you think "slim" or in this case "edge" edition will be back this year? 

Is it moving towards what we seen what happened to note series and now it's S series phones?

A lot yet to be defined and disclosed about the design. It looks slim and sleek. Rumours are based around the s25+ rather than ultra.

It depends on what has been compromised to make a slimmer design. The digitizer layer for s pen support? Two cameras may have lesser quality ?

I wonder how the strength is with this slim phone. I am sure JerryRigsEveryrhing will be looking forward to that test ! 😂

In my decision to buy a phone, the thickness of a phone is not the driving factor. Specs, features, reliability and robustness are more important.

I think the price will be high for early adoptors, and if planning on slapping a protective case over the top, then it kind of defeats the reason of having a slim phone. If you don't put protection on it then it is a big risk of investment.

Just my thoughts.

I am not sold on this, if it's not faster and better, it's just slimmer what's the point of giving the camera bumps will be larger?

Aware Apple is working on "a slimmer" model also.

I would prefer a thicker profile, flush with the camera.

I think the slim design is an interesting concept , need to see further details and how the design works practically and just how robust it is.

Would need to consider price value and if there are many compromises. (camera is one consideration)

Thought it was an iPhone at first lol. Only 2 cameras? Plus the original edge phones were called that because of the curved edges which I loved tbh another reason why i like my s23u but why call it the edge now? Maybe edge of reason? For why it even exists? It serves no real purpose ok maybe slimmer and lighter but bet it will still be more expensive than the standard model yet your losing a camera. Makes no sense to me.

The question is who actually wants a slimmer phone. Seems like the phone manufacturers are trying to push something that not many people want. I'd rather them upgrade the cameras on the plus.

I think it would be market for it,but it's not my "cup of tea" also.

Personally think would look better if cameras were smaller or flush. It will be interesting to see how it turns out when we see more things about it.
