Yeah, "Find My Device" on the Samsung S25 uses a bit of battery because of location, but it's not a big deal.

I hope you don't mind me saying......

You've bought a flagship series device and now you're spending all your time trying to find ways to not use it.

Use it for what you bought it for. That's why you spent hundreds of pounds on it. And charge it when it needs it. 🙏

Hi thank you for your input the Samsung community is designed for all to ask queations without being disrespectful. I don't see any issue posting questions if one disagrees one shouldn't even comment.
All the best

I totally agree with you and I added my comment in all good faith and respect to you.

For my sins I have a S25 Ultra and others have said to me about battery saving. For my sins I bought a flagship so I'm going to use it lol

Absolutely no intention to offend in any way 👌

It is not at all about posting but enjoyment. I also happen to think you are missing on it by worrying about battery life. 4 hours screen on time is to be expected from the base model. And that's by just leaving it as is. I get around 6hrs with s25u and that's with all the tweaks i can think of. And yet people with same device claim 8 or 9 hrs. Everyone is unique in their approach to phone usage and there is no one size fits all

Waste your money if you want but saving battery drain means fewer recharge cycles and the phone will last longer before needing a battery replacement or a new phone

The debate will always be there.

For myself I've bought a device to use, not to stress over whether it has used a little extra battery power.

Over the last 5 years I've upgraded each year so not too worried about the point term battery health but agree with your point that over a longer period battery capacity may reduce slightly but it is insignificant over the life of a modern flagship device. 🙏

In reality, all apps on your phone have to consume some of your phone battery in order for them to function well. If there are some apps that you don't use. Put them to deep sleep and apps that you don't use delete them.
