Seeing loads of post regarding "stolen/lost" phones in transit.
I ordered my S25u via EE and it was delivered in a tamper proof box.
How are Samsung sending out their phones direct from them, is it just the phone in it's box in a bag?
Would be interesting to see if all these stolen items are from 1 depot or is it across the country?

Direct from Samsung in a box in a bag, very similar to your EE package. Although I would say EE looks better packaged 😂

Samsung send their devices boxed and in a plastic bag.

On delivery, the receiver is required to provide the driver with a unique pin number and they enter it into their pdq.

In the rare event that he device is stolen, Samsung can then lock the device.

No dpd delivery including my phone required a pin....reason being Northern Ireland doesn't exist to DPD....yes we have DPD delivery but it can be tracked via DPD app so no access to the pin and they don't ask for ID 🤷‍♂️

Yea im based in Northern Ireland and i had to send a watch back via a dpd drop off, So I contacted Samsung and arranged door pickup from a relatives house as im now abroad. It's quite funny that the use DPD as their courier for returns in NI if they dont even have any DPD dropoffs
