Does S25 Ultra have some problems to handle highlights?

Hi! These are two photos taken with the test phones at the shop

The first photo was taken with the S25 Ultra and, in the following one (which is actually the same, it's just a zoom), you can notice how the highlights are over-exposed... in the other photo, taken with a different phone, there was no such problem

The only way to share them was to take a photo of the screen with my smartphone... so the photos look bad sorry :S, just focus on the zoomed part

Important: if I lower the exposure manually until the highlights are correct... the rest of the photo comes out too dark

Both photos have 50mp (the second 48, to be precise)

Thank you!

Hi! Welcome to the samsung members community!

Personally not noticed anything of the sorts. Will have to test. Worst case you can set exposure and lock it for future

Ok that's a terrible way to compare images taken from any phone. Neither shot shows anything meaningful to compare.

Firstly, the issue is we're seeing a 2nd hand image taken by your phone camera, not only has this affected the original photo taken by each device, but introduced other processing issues from your own phone camera. For example, you can clearly see the chromatic abberrations on the 2nd phone screen indicating a much clearer glass and higher quality display on the S25 Ultra.

Next up is the screen displays themselves. The S25 Ultra uses Super HDR when taking and rendering photos within it's gallery and this will affect how bright the photo will look on screen. The overexposure you notice is a result of this and is likely limited by your own camera, which doesn't capture the full details accurately.
