Do not Disturb apps notifications

Does anyone know what this option is for? I still get popup notifications even though "App Notifications" is turned off. It's been like this since launch.

DND will only silent the notification. If you don't want app notifications showing you need to turn off notifications for the apps you don't want to notify you.

I still want to receive notifications, but not the pop-ups, just like it was with previous One UI versions. I think this might be working incorrectly right now.

Settings > notifications > advanced settings. Toggle off

Thanks Fiona, just checked and that option was already turned off.

I am fine with the pop-up notifications; it's only when I have DND on.

And I get that DND is to silence notifications, but isn't that what the volume toggle already does?

You should be able to stop the pop up notifications, just not sure why it isn't working for you. May be it has changed in one ui7

I set certain apps for notification on pn do not disturb so it can work
