As you rightly said there is a possibility that the first batch of orders has already been fulfilled which could result in delay.
It is what it is unfortunately.
Also the Online only colours can take ages to come hence I normally avoid them as well.
I guess with all preorders or new releases it's always the excitement and frustrations which come with the package.
Hoping We all get our devices soon as possible 🙏😊

On the first night then the delivery schedule and estimated delivery was 1st February, and as more sales are made, these dates will slip, depending on demand and quantity of sales.
Also bearing in mind that the official release date is 7th February, and the dates earlier than that may well be early shipment.
I have a date of 1st feb and ordered the evening of the unpacked event. However there is no guarantee until the email from courier that it is on the route for delivery.
This has nothing to do with the edge or any other reason, than the high demand for the device and the ability for Samsung to deliver from stock, or the courier being able to deliver so many packages in a short period of time.
This same process occurs every year on release and preorder dates.

We are expecting news on this February or March I suspect (opinion not confirmed by Samsung).
