I want a new phone, but I'm stuck deciding between the S25 Ultra and a OnePlus with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Price isnt issue, but I can get both for the same price. What would you choose and why? Both have features I want, so I'm undecided.

Personally I'd get the S25 Ultra
I don't know what software support you get on the OnePlus. But 7 years support on the S25 Ultra
Plus the S Pen
Love the software customisations I can do on the S25 Ultra as well
Im sure the OnePlus is a really great smartphone. But Samsung phones suit what I want
Ultimately it's down to what features etc suit your needs
Its such a subjective decision that only you can make

I need convincing that you need to be convinced. What features, that you said need, have one and what the other

Can't comment about One Plus as I've not owned one before but.......

In the UK there isn't a huge amount of support from the networks for One Plus and I'm not 100% whether they have access to all network bands.

I do, however, have an S25 Ultra and it is a beast of a device. 😊
I am not employed by Samsung nor do I receive any remuneration as a Samsung Members Star.

My device is an S25 Ultra.

Hi @dyslexic

It is not possible to convince people about buying a phone. More often than not, it is not a logical decision, but an emotional one. We usually buy the one we wanted to buy all along.

Both phone are flagship phones with hardware specs to match.

The OnePlus might have some advantages on battery capacity and charging speed. It is meant to be capable on the camera department.

The S25 Ultra is not bad at any of those. It also has the S Pen, which could be very useful. Samsung also has good ecosystem. Software updates are more generous on the Samsung ecosystem. Samsung has a larger number of users which helps when trying to find support.

I prefer the Samsung phones, but my advise is to go to a shop and play with both, to see which is of the two is more you.

Good luck with your decision.
