Contemplating on returning my S25U when delivered

After reading some negative statements and some valid points to why there's not much difference in upgrading from a S23U to a S25U , I'm hesitant now... Need second opinions now... I paid £606 plus trading in my S23U 1TB for £440

Well 540 quid is a great price.  no matter what. I think if I got a price point below 800 quid I would have been sold on it. So many people this year are though unsure if "It" is worth it 😉

To be fair the screen material improvement from the S23U to S24U was massively worth it, you no longer need screen protectors, you don't get the horrid glare in the sun or under strong lighting, you get minimal reflection even on a dark screen.

So if the S25U has improved on the S24U screen material it will be a huge improvement over the S23U.

The problem I'm finding and it's not just samsung or even phones is firms are trying to use the buzz on AI in places where it just isn't needed. To be honest other than initially having a bit play with the writing styles AI I can't actually think of an AI feature I've used other than circle to search but then it is just an evolution of lense and really no different.

Firms need to stop pushing AI and actually go back to looking at advancing the hardware.

Welll I'm going from an S23 Ultra to an S25 plus. The reason is I've not used the pen in my Ultra, size in the S25 plus is the same as old phone and colours.

Totally understand your viewpoint @Bharwah 

You'll hear negative and positive comments about most launches of phone's,  whether it's Samsung or another Manufacturer's. 

By all means look at these and more importantly do all the due diligence you can.

i.e by watching YouTube reviews and have hands on with the phone at a Samsung Experience Store, or Highstreet Network Store to help make up your mind. 

When buying from Samsung UK one has a 14 day Cooling off period. 

As for the possible various subscriptions that maybe introduced then I'd expect this to be for the more premium aspects of Ai. Just my own personal thoughts on this. 

Personally I'm awaiting One Ui⁷ for my Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra and s²³ Ultra.
