I was told with fast charging, the s25 ultra can fully change in 57 mins. Mine is taking nearly 90 mins. Anyone else?

Hi All,

Im having the same issue, fast charging 2.0 doesnt work, I had to restart and it worked. then again started the same fashion. This is a faulty batch, I got it in the Netherlands on 1st Feb through Vodafone. Im going to ask for a replacement.

I have the samsung 65W 3 port charger.
Just yesterday night my samsung s23 ultra, like every other day was charging at 35 to 40W at peak with sometimes dipping to 15W as usual.

Today i exchanged s23u with s25u.

so far, it has never exceeded 14W. My usb c cable has a digital display of wattage. Its stuck at 15W and 45 min to full charge. Although it does show superfast charging 2.0

first thing.. i did a full recharge and then sat to drive for 2 hours.. when i left car battery was 82.. in 2 hours of just casual usage, batt 47

I have the 65W PD charger from samsung
https://www.samsung.com/in/mobile-accessories/65w-power-adapter-trio-black-ep-t6530nbngin/?srsltid=A...

I also have a 5A power delivery cable
https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B0BVZVH8KX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This worked perfectly with S23 ultra until yesterday, where it would peak at 34 to 43 watts but mostly charge at 13-15 watts when the battery is sufficiently full.

But today my s24U never crossed 15W while turned on. only when i turned it off, the consumption went to a constant 31W

I think there are certain check logic that prevents the phone from drawing high charge power. I am wondering what those are

If you've had it only a few days it will be syncing and running various actions in the background but will settle

You're one of the 70% +_-  that received a phone without any charging issues.  Congratulations, I'm sincerely happy for you.

The issues however, absolutely do exist...  I don't know what forum you're reading, but I for one am absolutely seeing people on THIS forum complaining about various charging issues.   Likewise, Reddit is littered with people complaining & pleading for help (thousands of people) , as also are the YouTube comments filled with people confirming the issue.

As stated in my og comment, I have tried 4 different charging blocks, and 3 different charging cables;  none of which resolves the issue.   Yes, I have tried 45w blocks, and even tried my Otterbox 60w block.   I have also purchased a BRAND NEW block & cable while at the AT&T store looking for a solution... to no avail.

The phone does charge, but only on standard charge...  which can take as long as 8 hours.   The issue is simply that FAST charging does not work, regardless of the blocks & cables used.  The phone power will literally go DOWN while fast charging - because it will not charge in fast charge mode.

None of that answers the simple question, do your chargers support PD 2.0?

I'm curious where you pluck this 70%~ number from.
