Good day!

I just moved from an S22 to and S25.  I now have the same clock on AOD as I did on the S22 but I can't remove it!

On the S22 the AOD would show the clock in the center of the screen and then it would move when I tipped to phone up to a new location that I chose to not obscure my lock screen wall paper.  Now, the movement is gone and I can't remove the clock.  A long press allows me to move it slightly right or left, but not up and down.  As well, there is no way to delete it.  I get options to change the colour and other properties but not to remove it.

To be clear, this is a remnant from the S22, I did not add it to the S25.  I have seen the tutorials on long pressing and deleting widgets but that is not available for this particular clock.

Any advice?

Thanks!

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

Hold down on the home screen, click Themes, go to Menu, My Stuff, AOD/ theme, click Default, then proceed to change it to whatever you want if you want

Thanks.  Before I do this, will it change my home screen wall paper and layout as well?  I really only want to get rid of the AOD clock.  I like it but it just isn't behaving like it used to.  Thanks!

If you just want to change the AOD clock. Just change the AOD to Default, not theme- then theme will stay the same Image attached

This does not work for me.  I can put a new AOD on but I don't want those.  I want it to have an adjustable clock.  I picked one using the method described and it worked fine but as soon as I tried to change it, the clock came back.  Thanks for trying though.  I wonder if a future update will allow me to change it.

Ya, just put default and changed my homescreen and lock screen wallpaper (not at all what I wanted) and left the AOD clock the same...lol.   So frustrating.  Anyway, I doubt this is going to work.  I will keep my eye on future updates.  I am hoping I can now find the wall paper I had as it was a picture taken years and years ago.

Just changing AOD shouldn't have changed your wallpaper. It's completely unrelated.

Well, I just changed my wallpapers back to what I had and the clock remains.  It seems impossible to remove the clock from AOD. No sure what next steps will be but very frustrating.
