Camera Inbuilt Filter

I just got an S25 Ultra and when I go into selfie mode on the camera, it seems to automatically smooth the skin.

It did ask if I wanted a natural or warm mode and I selected natural, but is there not a way to just not have any type of filter whatsoever?

I used my S21 at thr same time by comparison and the s21 is a much better photo and doesn't have the smooth appearance.

I don't have any filters actively applied, so there must be something inbuilt? Can I deactivate this or am I stuck with this feature?

Thanks

You can turn it off yeah, in selfie mode, press the 4 dots bottom right, swipe left till you see the face icon, press the face on the left. Yellow means on white means off.

Lemme know if that's a bad way to describe it, a video would be easier but that's hard to send

If I remember correctly the S21 has a 40MP camera vs 12MP on the S25 series for the selfie.

Thanks, the explanation is perfect don't worry 😊. I've checked this and it's off, but I still feel there's some sort of smoothing feature there 🫠😅

Ah maybe that's it and it's not a filter, it's just an inferior camera. That's disappointing though 😕

It might be an overall image smoothing due to lighting or processing. With good lighting and when you actually take the image, it should improve
