I've been using my new phone for a week now. I set it to stop charging at 80% and the lowest charge I get before plugging it in is 11%

I noticed I've done 5 cycles so far in the battery information. Any tips on how I can significantly decrease or completely stop this cycle count? I want my battery to stay top notch. Thanks

2 weeks in, I'm at 23 cycle count. Heavy gamer tho lol. Anybody like me?

Honestly, just useeeee your phone. You bought it to be used! Down the years, if you aren't happy with the battery, get a new one lol

Agree. It's ment to be used as a phone. Just set the battery protection to maximum and limit the charge to your liking. 90 percent is a good compromise. And don't let it go under 20 percent if possible.

I also have a Galaxy S7(for over 8yrs) now have the Galaxy S25..I never was concerned about a charging cycle on my S7. I always took it down to 2-3% before charging it to 100% and I still get 2 days use out of it without a charge. So now I have to do a 20-80% charge routine with the S25? Really?!

I do the same on my s7 edge. And the battery have taken a hit. I have to charge every day with normal use. Sometimes two times. So I will definitely set the battery protection to maximum 80 percent and not let it fall under 20 percent. I will however keep the fast charging setting enabled.
