Call Transcript and call recordings S25 series in the Netherlands/ Europe

Hello,

A few weeks ago, I got the S25 Ultra in the Netherlands. I’m really happy with the phone, but I have some questions about certain features, specifically call recording and call transcript (Galaxy AI): 

1. For devices registered in the Netherlands (and maybe even the EU), it seems that the option to record phone calls is disabled. This is quite surprising since call recording is legally allowed here. What’s even stranger is that the option appears in the settings, but the button doesn’t seem to do anything. I also couldn’t find any other way to enable call recording within the Phone app.
   

   2. Call transcript is a Galaxy AI feature that creates transcripts of phone conversations, which I find very useful, especially when important details are discussed. However, I can’t seem to find the option to enable it in the settings. I also haven’t found any official confirmation that this feature wouldn’t work in the Netherlands, but it wouldn’t surprise me if that were the case.

Do you have any experience with this, or any useful information regarding these features?

Hello,

1. Yes its allowed but its not in the software, you will have to get a third party app from the Playstore.

2. Instellingen > Galaxy AI > turn it on.

There is no options te enable call transcript, only life translate.

Bedankt voor je reactie. Klopt het dat jij S24 gebruik, de opties bij mij hebben een andere naam?

Transcript assist werkt prima, maar dat een andere functie dan wat ik bedoel (link staat bovenaan).

Wat zijn de gevolgen als ik mijn tel op een andere land forceer via USB ADB?

Ik heb de S25 Ultra. En ik denk dat je nog even moet wachten op de aankomende update.

Lijkt mij S25 Ultra 🙂 Jammer dat de update er nog niet is, die zal veel toevoegen.

Zoals ik in het oorspronkelijke bericht ook aangaf, bezit ik ook de S25 ultra, met dezelfde build als jou.  Wellicht staat jouw telefoon op Nederlands België (of een andere versie). Want ik heb dezelfde opties onder galaxy AI, maar ze zijn bij mij anders verwoord. 

Kan jij mij aangeven of call transcript bij jou wel werkt zoals beschreven in de link hieronder?

Nee ik lijk heel die optie niet te hebben. Waarschijnlijk wel na de aankomende update. Al betwijfel ik sterk of wij gesprekken kunnen opnemen daarmee.

Opnemen denk ik ook niet, kon namelijk ook niet op one ui 6 met s21 ultra. Maar misschien die call transcript wel. 🙏
