Zoom function in text messages

Recently purchased s24+ coming from s21 fe, Zoom function is not as good as it used to be - Previously I could zoom out to a much higher aspect, now it only let's me zoom out to a specific size and won't let me go any further. 

Are there any fixes for this?

Works fine for me, can zoom in quite a margin.

I have an S24. I find that the zoom is seamless from 0.6x all the way to 30x. I've been enjoying it overall. What do you mean specifically by zooming out to a much higher aspect? Ultrawide cameras usually go to 0.5x zoom so it might be that .1 more zoomed in (if that makes sense). You might also want to check your camera settings. If you're shooting in the max megapixel setting for the camera, it won't let you zoom at all. Period.

It works fine for me too. I can pinch and zoom in or out to my hart's content.

Which application are you using Google or Samsung Messages?

By the way, that works for me on both apps.
