Hi @caldog27
I read that Microsoft Swift Keyboard was causing issues with One UI 7 and that it was advisable to disable it before the update.
You might like to try that.
You could also install Google Keyboard (Gboard)

Open an application that needs the keyboard, e.g Messages
Tap one of the chats and tap Text message field to bring the keyboard
Tap the keyboard settings (gear icon)
Scroll down to (Reset to default settings)
Tap it to reset.
To show Samsung keyboard on the list of apps
Navigate to:
Settings -> Apps
Tap on the list of apps Your apps (333) Three parallel lines getting shorter and down arrow
Check that Show system apps is toggle on, see pictures below:
