Trouble setting up texts on a new S24. I did a transfer from an S20. I can make calls and send short texts and sometimes a bit longer ones.
I've just been trying to send a long text and it's saying "service not activated on network". However when I send a short one to the same contact it works.
I've just used my phone on a call and it was fine. I've done a restart & manually disconnected then reconnected to my network but it's not cleared.
Just 1 sim in the phone that worked fine in my S20.
Any ideas please?

Hey there
Long texts will convert to MMS which may not be part of your tariff with your network.
Some networks only allow a standard text (164 characters) others more.
You'll need to reach out to your network and provision MMS which may be chargeable.
