Status bar and aod display battery display

I absolutely despise the new pill battery icon. I no longer can have the battery on my aod under the time as it is already in the top right corner. The new pill shape is horrible and very iPhone like. Am I the only one that really dislikes it? I'm begging for a update where we can choose what our battery display looks like, like on other androids. Or even have the option to change it to how it used to be.

No this has been brought up in the Beta program testing. I made feedback about it.
But its obviously by design to be there.
Personally I don't have a problem as such. My gripe is that it's always there on the always on display and I don't want it.
Only thing to do is go into the support section on the Members App and leave feedback there for development teams to see

This has been reported by a lot of people. The battery icon is actually a horrible design choice. But the Samsung design team is reluctant to make a change here because it doesn't "match their concept."

It's horrible, it's not accessible, it looks out of place and looks ridiculous and the animation for charging is horrendous
