Slit on side of s24 ultra camera

Hey guys just got a Samsung s24 ultra and I noticed on the first back camera on the side there's a slit the phone is brand new just want to know if this is normal?

That is a mic to aid when recording a video.

You could always reset the sPen.

As mentioned by @GoanGeek do keep the screen clean. 

Also if you've applied a screen protector then this could have an effect. 

There is a screen sensatativity option in Settings and Display. 

If this does continue to be an issue then keep any cooling off period in mind.
