I have just changed to an s24 ultra (SM-S298B/DS).

To run work apps my employer requires me to have recent security updates (June 2024 or later). My phone has a January 2024 version and when I check for updates there are none. I know there are updates released so how do I access them? My phone is not locked.
Thanks

Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK Community Forum

May I please ask where you bought your device? Sounds to me like it may be out of region so not picking up updates.

S24 Ultra is now up to August Security and the equivalent of UI6.1.1 (but called 6.1).

Hi @RRRR_UK

Have try tapping on:

Settings - > About the phone -> Software information -> Google Play system update ?

It should prompt you to restart the phone after downloading it, if there is a new update

It's not sorted, it says I have the latest version but I don't. I know there is an August patch and i have the one from January.

I am sorry, I misunderstood.

You could try clearing the cache partition, please remember that you will need to connect the phone to computer or another phone to get into the recovery menu.

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/

and then try to update Google Play again.
