Assuming you're using Google Maps, hold the icon and then click the 'i' to get to the app settings page. Then go to permissions and ensure GPS is Allowed - either all the time or while using the app. I have it Allowed all the time, but depends on your use case.

Hi @Star_girl
The location from is usually where you are as detected by the phone. On top of GPS check:
Settings -> Location -> Location services
And in "Improved accuracy" heading check that these settings are toggle on:
Wi-Fi scanning and Bluetooth scanning. It will help maps to determine the current location quicker,
Technology enthusiast, but not related to any technological company.
