I am trying to use the maps app but I cannot maganage to set up the location from where I a leaving and it's got a weird location set up by default I guess I am having trouble changing it. I have managed to set up the location correctly once and the app didn't save it and it's taking me back from the default location. Also when I am trying to set up my home location although I put the post code it will show it's ther4 but than it's asking me to drag the location with my finger😳 and even if I did that it didn't save it and it didn't say why. I wad relying very much on the Note 20 Ultra maps, but this is very cumbersome and it's awkward to set up. I hope I will manage to set it up in the end. Phone GPS is on.

Assuming you're using Google Maps, hold the icon and then click the 'i' to get to the app settings page. Then go to permissions and ensure GPS is Allowed - either all the time or while using the app. I have it Allowed all the time, but depends on your use case.

Hi @Star_girl

The location from is usually where you are as detected by the phone. On top of GPS check:

Settings -> Location -> Location services

And in "Improved accuracy" heading check that these settings are toggle on:

Wi-Fi scanning and Bluetooth scanning. It will help maps to determine the current location quicker,
