I got my S24, brand new. Wifi was working fine. Since the OS update, the Wifi is now unreliable.
It does disconnect for no reason. Nothing else has changed. I keep an eye on my connected devices to the routeur, all the other devices stay connected.
The S24 doesn't usually stay connected for more than 30 minutes.
I have performed a safe mode test, network reset, routeur reset too.
I have also played with the Intelligent wifi settings, no luck yet.
My routeur is an ASUS routeur. I have seen some issues in the past with Samsung users and ASUS routeurs. My S10 never had issues with that routeur in the past.
Any help would be appreciated as I feel this is a software issue and not a hardware issue.
Thank you in advance.

With the help of the internet I think I have found an answer. The phone is stable while connected on the 2.4Ghz frequency.
Beware. opening the phone is not an option since it is a software issue.
Sam*ung wanted to get a technician to open my phone to fix this issue..
Lucky enough I had a little voice inside me!

This is a known bug that Samsung have refused to patch for many years. The modem in the Exynos chips don't work on 5Ghz WiFi

If you haven't already @Julien Montreal please clear the phone's cache files.
> Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Just did it, still having the same issue. Apparently the S24 Ultra also has the same issue..
I don't think I am the only one having this problem.
Thanks anyways

But 2.4GHz is slower than 5GHz wifi. I can't believe the largest phone company has this issue. Just insane.

Since I did the switch, no more issues. I would rather have a slower internet and reliable. Hope it helps other users out there. Lucky enough I didn't go for opening the phone as suggested...

I had exactly the same issue, was driving me nuts. Found the real fix on my own. Pretty simple, really. Go to settings, search for reset. ONLY reset WiFi and Bluetooth. Click on reset, and voila, wifi is lightning fast now, no issues. it's completely stable again on 5ghz.
