Hello everyone

I may be going to a sanctuary to take care of some foxes (one of my dreams), and of course take a ton of photos

I don't really want to spend the whole time fiddling with camera settings so I'm wondering:

For the purposes of animal photography, does 12, 50 or even 200mp suit the situation best? I still think the 200mp has the post production bug so maybe not that one

I know there are pro and raw options which I'd be happy to use if I will be able to set them up and not continuously need to alter things. This is a once in a lifetime thing for me so as you can imagine I want to get the absolute best photos I can

If I had to guess the conditions it would be grassy outdoors, cloud coverage, midday

Any advice would be awesome

Hi @Foxxy09

I would recommend to use the portrait mode. It can take good pictures, good details and colours.

On photo mode, the 12MP is arguably the best at the moment. If you are taking with daylight on a nice day, then most of the pictures should be very good on any MP.

I normal stick to 12MP .

Use all the lenses at your disposal

Don't worry too much about settings.

Just concentrate on capturing the moment .

Also the s24 can shoot 4k video on all lenses now so do make use of it.

Most of all have fun and do post over here some of those Awesome photos.
