Walking the dog this morning, decided to take a video, panned to the right and heard a buzzing noise which I thought was very strange, almost felt like the phone started to vibrate with a call coming in but not as intense.

Watched the video I had taken and you can hear a buzzing and the image distorting at the same time. This can be re-created by moving the camera to the right. This happens on video only so far.

Little research shows this is quite a common occurrence, but this must be a hardware issue surely? Faulty OIS I suspect, or is this just another quirk we have to live with?

    Video attached.

Have you also sent this as feedback to Samsung via your Samsung Members App @Char93

We won't be able to watch your upload until the Samsung Community Forum Team have moderated the attachment.

I've tried recording a video on my Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra, to try and recreate what your experiencing, and it appears fine.

Your phone does have a diagnostic tool found in your Samsung Members App and a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre can assess your phone.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

    Hi there,

Yes I have and they have said they don't know and need to pass it on to their software experts. Been a few days and haven't heard back as of yet.

Can see the video is still not showing on here, would be good to show what is happening!

Hey, I've been having the same problem since the last software update. My S24 Ultra was working perfectly until May, can you please take a look and fix this bug ?!

    Thanks!

Fingers crossed this appears to have been true, their tech support also told me the same. Since the latest update I haven't experienced it again.

Hi there, that's strange, it seems to have been resolved by the last update for me! Surprised a software update fixed it as would assume it would be a hardware issue but fingers crossed it's gone for good. Hope you can get it sorted.

After you wrote me, I have checked the software and the last update was from 24 of May, I refresh and I found the last update from 8 of June, installed and the shake is solved.

    Thank you !
