1. They released this phone not being able to see the colors were washed out? Really? Noticing the washed out colors doesn't take advanced technology skills. Why they released this with a cr*ppy display.
2. The article doesn't say when. That is when the fix will be released.
3. I only got this phone for the supposed real time translation abilities for an upcoming trip. Otherwise I have come to expect that a Samsung phone might be a loser and wait 6 months so they can figure out how to fix their problems.
4. I am tired of paying for expensive phone that becomes a small hobby to get fixed and running correctly. I purchase this since I am going on an international trip and didn't have time to look at alternative brands.

Thank you so much for posting the link. This is the first conclusive proof I've seen that Samsung are fixing the issue AND how the GUI for the display will change in the update.
Not sure why they can't just enable the "Vivid" option on the Screen mode page (on my phone there is NO visible difference between "Vivid" and "Natural" modes), but as long as they fix it I'll be happy. Like many, the Vivid mode is one of the big reasons I switched from Apple years ago.

Nice. Thanks for the link. I figured out how to hide the navigation bar at the bottom; getting my Vivid back will make me 100%. A little annoyed that these were even issues, but I appreciate the reasonably quick fixes.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
