Example if i wanna photo a receipt. Why does center get sharp and all around get blurry?

My 8 years old samsung a40 was better than s24.

That's normal. The main camera on modern phones can't focus very well up close. They're designed for medium to long range. You'll get better results having it further away, then zooming in.

The ultra phones have a specific feature for this. When you take a picture of something too close, it swaps to the ultra wide to stop blur issues. Only ultras do this as non ultra phones don't have a focusable ultra wide camera

Hi @Members_rL2RxOK

What you describe is typical of portraits, "bokeh", a much desired feature on photography. Check your camera settings that you are on photo mode not portrait.

On the camera settings Check that "Scan documents and text" is toggled on; when taking a picture of a receipt make sure that the macro logo is there (a yellow flower) and the scan text logo (a circle with a T inside some brackets)

If the automatic mode still gets you that effect, then check the settings a see for any that might be doing some "intelligent" modification.

You could also use the pro mode tap the AF-C and change it to multi or manual.
