Retrieving Google status bar to homescreen

I've managed to make it vanish pocket scrolling I guessing.

Are you talking about the widget? Easy enough to add it back to the homescreen, long press on your homescreen and at the bottom will be something called widgets, click on it and find the Google one and select it and add it to your homescreen.
