Hi, how do I remove myself from the beta? I've following the steps shown in the application:

("Settings > One UI Beta Programme status > Withdraw" menu) - but this option isn't there?

The update has been paused and is not currently installed. Many thanks!

You need to go through the installation in order to unsign from it I believe. It should show up as seen in my screenshot1733480258776.jpg

Yeah but I don't want to install it. I'm on with Samsung support and they said to clear data/cache from software update in my apps, but this hasn't stopped the download. Next step is to raise a ticket with support in the members app

I don't think you'll have any issue installing then uninstalling tbh, but do not hold me to that as there is no guarantees. I've just never had a single problem using the betas in the past, so I have little belief you'll have any trouble doing so.

Have you participated in many betas? Only reason I'm looking to withdraw is it advises the possible loss of data etc and to back up my phone before hand. I don't want to loose any data nor do I want to do a fresh system restore😊

I've participated in every one since the S20 Ultra, as I've owned all S Ultra devices since then.

And have you ever had any issues with data loss, having to do fresh system restores etc?

Never lost any data in any of them. Only really had an odd app not working but typically the OS feels a little faster than normal for various tasks like installing apps and some other things like animations at times. Samsung never typically release them in any really broken state, functionally wise. But it is beta testing, so there will likely be the odd visual or functional bug here or there.

You need to install it first, then follow the steps to withdraw. If you don't install the software after signing up then you'll have problems receiving new software updates in the future.

If you install it you'll lose all data when you uninstall it. That's because it's classed as a software downgrade. You can't downgrade the system software without a data wipe. You don't normally lose any data if you install the beta.
