I'm very disappointed to find that Samsung has opted to provide the Portuguese language pack only in the Brazilian variant. It's quite offensive to the Portuguese that the original and official European Portuguese language is omitted, especially when the differences between the two are so significant.

Is there any way to download language packs other than those offered on the device?

What about General management -> Languages -> Add Language.

They have Portuguese from a wide number of regions, including countries from Africa and Asia.

they keyboard app will also have language options.

It could be that it has not been ported for the S24 yet, but I am sure it will be available. It is understandable that Brazilian Portuguese will be done first, they have around 203 million people vs 10.5 million in Portugal.

I am sorry, I missed the bit that you were referring to the interpreter.

I'm disappointed too. Please add European Portuguese to Interpreter.

In fact there is only one Portuguese language all other non european regions use dialects, accents and varieties.

With european Portuguese you get the base language that is native to 9 countries in the world.

Brazilian Portuguese should be called "Brazilian", as it is increasingly diverging from Portuguese (the one most countries that use Portugueses as their language use). At least in the form used by the majority of the Brazilian population, The Brasilian diverging a lot from Portuguese on recent years. However, scholarly Brazilian remains very similar to European Portuguese, but very few people know how to talk that way.
