I am still happy with S24U and it's camera, which is still a powerful beast in 2025. I believe it's more powerful and better now after it received UI7 and certainly the wide camera and the selfie camera arr much better and capturing more image in the frame than before, which is what I really wanted and S25U has from the box.
Here is how I played around with the Pro Mode yesterday, more like experimented with the features.
This post is more to encourage users to play around with the camera, than to prove my ProMode camera using skills.😂
💯💯💯 I agree on phone vs camera specs and software similarities. Camera is not always easy to carry though. I have seen those hand held grips, it almost looks like you are holding a camera in your hands.
Agreed focusing with the barrel and focus lock buttons with dedicated exposure/aperture control dials is a joy on a real camera. Ergonomics are so underrated, I'd take a chunky handle grip first always. I'm probably not the ultra slim phone target market awkwardly.
Completely, I take 10x more pictures on my phone as it doesn't weigh a ton and is always just there, so making the most of it makes total sense. Mirrorless is for holidays, hiking and work.
