One UI 7.0 charging issue

After updating my S24 Ultra on Friday April 11th 2025 to the One UI 7.0 version, it no longer recognizes my Samsung superfast charging blocks. I did all the routine checks in settings. I checked the cable and blocks and still nothing. Prior to the update the phone was charging great using my Samsung charging blocks. After the update it no longer recognizes the charging blocks. However my buds pro 3, bose open ear and galaxy watch ultra, all recognize the Samsung superfast charging blocks. Does this One UI 7.0 version has issues? Is anyone else getting this problem?

I'm having the same issue. I have two super fast charging blocks at home that worked perfectly before the update. After the update, they now only charge at regular fast charging speeds, not super fast. To my surprise, my friend's charger worked, which made me realize it's not that every cable is broken like I initially thought.

Same issue and i was a Beta tester, all through the 5 beta's charging no issue, as soon as final one came out issues with wireless charging, not with direct charging via lead, even says fast wireless and superfast charging 2.0 via lead, i dont get full charge power on either and i have a lead that shows wattage. What works on mine if not wireless charging but charges wired, restart phone and wireless charging is back. I have tested on multiple wireless pads (not genuine and one original dual charging pad) and the same issue, so has to be a bug in the official one UI7 release, ive had a minor update since but i think it was just a monthly security update, unfortunately the beta channel closed when the official release came out so cannot post to them about it

Dual pad? With fast charging pad I have no issue. It takes 20/19 W easily. Of course much less is actually going into the phone... Cause wireless charging is not very effecient.

The same just happened to me after upgrading my S23 ultra. Was charging with around 15 Watts before the update.

15 W is a bug of OneUI 6.1.1? It needs to be at least 22 W, sometimes going up to 40/33.

I have the same issue. My wife's galaxy s24 which doesn't have the update can superfast charge, but when I plug my phone in to the exact same charger, it's slow af to charge

I have to leave my phone plugged in all day. Completely unacceptable.

Yes, the only  way I can charge (from flat) into suse a ***** slow charger, yhe get it to about  12% turn  the phone  on and then  switch it to the fast  charger.  The phone  needs to be turned  on and fast  charging with  take over until fully charged.  It's  annoying  especially  in urgent  situations 😒

Just updated my S24+ phone and the super fast charging option is completely gone in the battery settings, (and thus?) phone is also charging slowly/not fast

There is no super fast charging option on S24+... It is just called fast charging now.

same with me here ive been trying to find any solution and tries everything but its not working
