One UI 7.0: Bluetooth icon in status bar gone

Since One UI 7.0 the Bluetooth icon in the status bar is gone. Before that an active Bluetooth connection was directly visible which is extremely helpful if you have to switch your headset between smartphone and computer. Now you have to swipe down to open the notification area. This is an unnecessary functional deterioration.

Please bring back the formerly perfect behavior of the status bar.

[EDIT:] … and if there have even more icons disappeared: please allow all icons to appear in the status bar with QuickStar (Good Lock) to be shown and prioritized. QuickStar does not distinguish between "Bluetooth" and "Bluetooth with active connection". Adding this would be the best solution.

Sorry, but that ist no solution to what is demanded here. We were talking about a QUICK REFERENCE to a current and active Bluetooth connection, not a whatsoever way to find out. Did You really believe that we don't know how to check the Bluetooth status in general? Please read more carefully what this topic was about and the difference to how the statusbar information was BEFORE when everything was just fine.

Whoever decided to get rid of the Bluetooth symbol on the notification bar is absolutely braindead. Why are these UI designers so obsessed with forcing us to see things through their distorted view? In what way is being forced to drag down some dopey bar easier than just being able to see my connection status?

Whoever designed this new UI should be fired. I hate them.

At least give us an option for an extended status bar! having to pull down that bar is an extra step that simply I'm not used to doing. I would rather just take a quick glance.

Mayber there is a way to hack it? developer mode?

I also noticed that when adjusting specific volume settings that I no longer get presented with a 'sample' of how loud/soft that tone will be. I need that back! Used to work great on my old phone. I just got blasted with a loud work call. If I had, had that quick sample tone, that would not have happened.

oh I meant to mention this is when hitting the side volume buttons and then clicking on the three dots to adjust specific volumes, it did used to give me a sample tone there. not anymore. I can adjust them in Settings and there I do get the sample tone/volume. inconsistency!!!

As stated by many others: Please bring back the option to always show the Bluetooth connection icon on the status bar (with closed panel). It is really helpful to know that you will be listening through your headphones and not suddenly annoy people around you when you start playing music or a podcast. The extra step required to open the panel is annoying.

Yes, brain-dead UI designer, bring back bluetooth icon on quick reference. Swiping down quick panel is really a pain and unnecessary step.

Seriously Samsung you need to sort this out ASAP, make it a customisable option, dont just take the feature away altogether. It's things like this that make us need to install unsafe and insecure apps & workarounds to get back the features we loved and used previously. The battery icon is totally ***** also. I've also lost my ability to fast forward on lock screen media control for Podcast Republic which I've had for years. Fix it all now , it was all fine the way it was on the last UI.
