New samsung user here!

I've had my S24U since June.. but I'm still very new to android so I have a few questions.

I deleted the shortcuts for samsung Internet because I'd rather use Chrome. But somehow I always end up back in samsung Internet with a millions tabs open. Can I stop this from happening??

Then there's samsung pass vs google passwords.. I can never find my log in to certain things because it seems like it randomly decides where to save my passwords! Can I use just one and how do I go about that? 

Probably loads more questions to come!!!

You can ask unlimited valid Questions.

1. Go to settings and search for ' default apps' choose 'default apps' and you can choose your browser for Chrome etc.

Now for passwords.


Same procedure

Under settings search for 'passwords' passwords and fill and stuff

And change to Google if that's is your preference.

I think it's a simple matter of selecting default apps. See attached screenshots, you can make Chrome and either Google wallet or Samsung wallet as a default.

I would suggest that you uninstall the 2 apps you decide not to use as your default. Probably best to either have Chrome and Google wallet or Samsung browser and Samsung wallet.

Why? Samsung Internet browser is much better than Chrome, can block almost all ads, Chrome can't. I have no issue with using Samsung keyboard with Samsung Pass and default Google apps (Google Messages and Chrome), password are saved in both places. And for Google stuff is better using Chrome, for Samsung stuff-Samsung Internet browser.
