I once had that issue on my s21 ultra when I was on holiday in India.

The whole time there had to charge wirelessly.

Tried everything under the sun and it was not having it.

Came back to London and it fixed itself somehow

I don't know. Maybe turn it off for over 24 hours and see if it solves itself out.

That thing get pretty annoying.

Or charge wirelessly if you say there was no water damage as an alternative.

Hopefully it may sort it self out.

Hello @Thomas2012 and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum 👋

I can appreciate how frustrating this must be. 🙂

First please run the diagnostic tool found in your Samsung Members App to see if that highlights anything.

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/my-device-displays-a-water-drop-icon-and-will-not-...  is an official Samsung Help Link.

Usb reset.
Settings > Apps > Tap the 3 lines with the downward facing arrow, to the right of 'Your apps' > Show system apps (toggle this on) > OK > Scroll down, and tap on 'USBSettings' > Storage > Clear cache > Clear data, then restart your device.

Finally a more broadsworded option is > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎
