Gemini activation sound

When I activate gemini with the side button or hey google the pop up appears

But there isnt the beep that should be there

It only makes a noise when I use Bluetooth audio and activate it

Does anyone know how to fix

(I've already tried switch access and mic open mic close notifications)

It looks like it's either a bug with Gemini or Google have removed it for some reason. A lot of others having same issue on various devices https://support.google.com/assistant/thread/254180090/beep-sound-after-say-ok-google-not-working-mor... has more info. I can confirm my S23 does not make the sound when using phone direct, I don't have Bluetooth headphones to hand, but android auto did beep at me earlier when I said hey Google

It's not meant to make a noise. This was changed 2 years ago with Google assistant, Gemini prompt noise was removed around then.

That's not true because it works through headphones.

It was changed two years ago... the OP wasn't talking about headphones. As of right now no sound when gemini is activated from the phone itself
