There have been some Microsoft outages reported,do not have an issue myself though.  No current issues detected with Outlook/Hotmail mind you. https://downdetector.co.uk/status/outlook/

seems to have more problems with Microsoft 365 like  https://downdetector.co.uk/status/microsoft-365/

Specific error messages would help.
