Displaying incoming call location/country

Hello,

I am coming from a OnePlus as a long time user.

One thing I found very useful was that the phone displayed the caller location on incoming calls (also outgoing if I remember correctly), especially for quick spam identification. I know you could just look at the area pre-dial code, but i find this useful for a quick glimpse if I should answer or not.

So the thing is I can't find this setting on the S24, is this even possible on Samsungs or not.

Do you know if there is a specific setting for that, I know there's the Caller information thing, but it didn't work for me. Maybe it was just the number that called me without this info, can't say for sure 🤔

Idk, I think the phone did it by itself. Maybe I was asked once if I agree to the setting or not I can't remember.

OK, the S24U shows the location of the caller as well. Idk how it's done. Maybe for some callers it doesn't show though.

I think only some caller show the location, this could be up to google that can locate the landline number that call you from.

Yeah I'm guessing that's the case, it would be funny if Samsung didn't have this functionality. I'll just have to wait and see.
