Complaint Regarding Phone Contents

I honestly just wanna make a formal complaint about the contents of the new galaxy S 24. It is a shame that when we as consumers are paying all of this money for this cell phone that we can’t even get a complete charger to ensure that we can even use the phone properly. At least we get a charger with an Apple iPhone. My son actually wanted this phone. Everyone else in my household have iPhones.

Samsung haven't supplied an adaptor with the phone since like 2021... in fact I'm sure Apple were first to remove the adaptor.

In the UK retailers specify that it doesn't come with adaptor... I'd assume it'll be same for other regions... not Samsungs fault you didn't check what the phone comes with via your retailer 🙃

Apple certainly doesn't supply anything other than a charging cable.
In fact they were the first to not supply the charging brick.

The contents of what is in the box is clearly in the phones description when ordering.

I totally get where you're coming from. You receive a brand new phone that states must be fully charged before use, but it is only part charged out of the box. Hang on, where's the charger!? On the flip side, we all know the reasons why phone companies have taken to not supplying chargers. The environmental impact being the main reason. Yes, it's an extra expense on top of an already expensive device, but those companies have an obligation to reduce plastic waste and acknowledge that it is highly likely that consumers would already have a charger from a previous device. I happen to agree with this policy ( I haven't purchased a charger in years). I also agree that the onus is on the consumer to do their homework and check what's in the box prior to purchase. It saves no end of hassle.

@Stephanie Stevens   Think there must be some reason why your son wanted the  S24 rather than an iphone.  Maybe it was due to style/innovation or the customisation  available on Samsung Devices.

Many companies  now do not include chargers with their Devices and it is well documented even if it will not suit everyone, some customers will have compatible chargers  and  Tech companies have sustainability in mind.  of of course there are some commercial factors at play.
