How do I avoid camera Moiré especially when taking photos of a screen?

Is there a specific setting / camera lens to use which can eliminate this?

Hi @VikzL

Taking picture of a screen is always a tricky business. There are no settings to fix this for all occasions. You could play with angle, zoom or filters to help you with your shot, but it will be shot dependant.

The settings you use for a particular screen shot might not produce good results on different screen, image.

If you want to take a picture of just a portion of the screen, you could try the macro feature. Just get close enough until the macro indicator is enable, two joined yellow circles. Again, you might need to adjust your distance to minimise the effect.

Alternatively, you could use some software post processing.

Hi @Reylob, thanks for your suggestions. Will definitely try those out. Would be great if Samsung developed a "screen shooting" mode 😅
