The galaxy s24 ultra camera is amazing. However after taking pictures. The images are over- sharpened, softened too much, and with around 30x zoom the pictures look like they were made by an ai generator. Samsung said in the past they would fix the camera issues but no fix yet. Pictures on the s24 ultra get processed too much to the point were some of them look fake and unnatural.

Video quality is great though. No issues there.

Hello @Whattttt

Have you looked also at the setting in your camera in regards to optimisation.

Launch Camera > Tap on the Settings Cog > Intelligent Optimisation > Choose Minimum.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I'd recommend you zoom in 5× and crop later for now, as you get the same image, just less over-sharpened and a less mushy mess.

5× is the highest optical zoom, aka, it uses the 111mm lens. You need to shoot in 50mp mode however.

On my s22 ultra 30x zoom looked way better. It didn't look like it was ai generated.

Probably just needs tuning which Samsung tends to do over many updates. I never go above 10x zoom anyway even older models looked poor
