Hello,
same problem on my S21 FE 5G. My rear 1x camera is working well but sometimes when I try to capture luminous sky or object, the application freeze and shows "Camera failed" error.
My phone has been repaired 4 times by customer service. They replaces the 4 cameras (3 rear and 1 front) and even the motherboard but the problem persist.
I also tried the secure mode and reproduced the issue.
This problem seems to be recurrent on Galaxy S2X models without any help from Samsung.
Samsung does not care and told me to discuss with my operator which sends me back to the workshop who does not want to send me a new phone even if they are not able to repair it !!!
I think that Samsung benches does not stress the CPU and camera as it happens in the real life.

Hi Edward,
I am facing a problem with my S24 Ultra. My front cameras are working fine, but the back cameras freeze and the app crashes whenever I zoom to 5x or above.
Have you found a solution for this?

Unfortunatelly I purchased it while I was on holidays in the US and I live abroad. I am flying back to the US next week and visit the store to have it fixed because the warranty only covers in the US.

Just to add that the phone has been back to Samsung for 'repair' 4 times and returned exactly the same. I have transcripts of the MANY tech chats I've had with Samsung tech people who all seem to be chatting from the same script and promise callbacks at a set time. These NEVER happen so I've wasted many hours waiting for phone calls which do not come.

After 7 months of non-support I involved my credit card company, sent the phone back to Amazon, and have been issued a full refund.
