BETA testing... consider this before enrolling...

There are a great many people wanting to get involved in this phase of Beta testing. Please consider these points FIRST. 

- by enrolling into Beta phase you are agreeing to be a part of the test team. This phase is used to gain feedback on functionality, likes and dislikes, and software bug issues. You should report anything that you think are worthy of comment. This is a chance for YOU to help shape the next OneUI release for stable use. 

- this is not just a free software that is fully functional and being given out as a pre-release. You should expect bugs and issues, some things that you don't like, and perhaps some experimental things. Not everything will always make to the full release... again this is a good reason to report things back. 

-during the beta, there are sure to be some 'incompatabilities' with other third party applications. It is important to keep checking for app updates in thegoogle play store andsamsung store during the beta testing period, as third party developers will also be pushing their updates for testing. This can be particularly relevant with Goodlock apps and other launchers that may not work well from the outset. PLEASE do check for new updates from these apps on a regular basis.

- there are a lot of users that may not get an invite... only limited numbers are invited to test the beta. If you don't intend to report issues, bug reports, or do your part in the testing, then you should re-consider subscribing for beta. This may mean that others that are willing to get actively involved will be able to test during beta. 

-it can be a painful process once updated to beta... to roll back to the earlier oneUI. Therefore you should think carefully about the decisions. Some things that use security like the banking apps and other functions may not be fully working. You should consider this before beta testing. 

For those of you that have Beta tested before and are well aware of the points above... then THANKYOU for your contribution to the overall testing phase and stability of the upcoming new OneUI7 release. Beta testing needs you ! 🫵

For those of you that have no intentions of being active in the reporting, use this as a daily phone, and cannot do without the stability of a full release, then please wait until the mass rollout early in 2025.

Hey . Could also update your post for people trialling the beta to keep checking regularly for app updates in both Samsung and google stores please.

Also that some goodlock apps won't work for the same reason.

I hope that other handsets will open up to beta. Currently the S24 range only but perhaps during the test phase, others may get added.

I can certainly see them needing flip and fold feedback on the UI transitioning between inner and outer screens, so it may be possible. Or perhaps will do this validation with the Z6 series... will have to wait and see.

Personally I only have one phone currently, the S23 ultra. So I don't like to beta with my only handset. I had a less than good experience last time with beta.

It's saying that they already had the maximum number of participants yesterday.
So basically,
Samsung wants someone else instead of me,
what is OK.
Before I tried to participate as much as possible with my previous S23 Ultra.
