Always on Display

Is it just me, or has the ability to customise the always on display vanished?

Previously you could customise the clock and style of the always on display, separate to the screensaver clock.

Now, it seems you cant customise one without the other, which is disappointing.

U know to just hold lockscreen for a second to customise.
Or the goodlock which gives you loads of options..👍🏼

I can customise the lock screen okay, but it results in the always on display mirroring the lock screen setup. It's no longer independent, like on the S23

I'm the same as you ,I can't believe they've changed the gestures options they've taken options away crazy,
I don't use the AOD but I can understand how p****d off u are..👍🏼

I'm upset about the AOD as well, I used to have my emoji dance on screen. I don't want a darker version of my current wallpaper; it's too bright, plus it's basic. The AOD icons only show in one colour now, before they showed in the individual apps logo colour, (e.g. Pintrest would be red, whatsapps green). I wish Samsung would stop copying Apple, I usually like Samsung because they have individuality and personality, but they seem to be dulling themselves down. Also, I hate the matte finish on everything. I think it's had a negative impact on the vividness of the screen's colour. My brand new phone looks washed out. I don't feel like I'm getting bang for my buck and I'm considering returning.

I much preferred my previous setup. I'm hoping it's a case of a few updates, but might be wishful thinking. I don't understand why they'd make it worse. I do think the colours are broken, as there is no difference between vivid and normal colours.

Somethings off, and that's coming from someone who actually usually uses natural, but my zf3 screen in natural seems better/brighter than s24u in vivid. I'll see how things fair after owning it a week. I've only had it a few days, so I'll give the benefit of the doubt.

There are usually some post launch tweaks. I'm hoping this year is no different
