Alexa Notifications

Hi .

I have an Alexa that my s24u is connected to but for some reason I dont get any notifications through my phone...if I ask her to remind me in an hour for something she will come through the speaker but won't send any notifications to me phone! I've gone into Notification Catagory and everything is turned on, but still nothing..

Can anyone help ?

Hi, is your Alexa connected via Bluetooth or through the Alexa app? I believe if the app is installed and set up, then Alexa will send notifications to your phone through the app.

I’m assuming by the notifications category you referred to, you meant the settings on the app.

It's all switched on on the app..
And on the phone under notifications for Alexa everything is switched on

If you're with your Alexa right now, ask her to buzz your phone or call your phone. If she can't, she might give you the reason for not being able to connect to the device.

The mystery gets deeper. Perhaps ask Alexa specifically to send a reminder to your phone and see if it works?

May I suggest contacting Amazon for specifics regarding communication between Alexa and the app? They might be able to shed some light on that issue.
