I have been having ongoing problems with Android auto and have tried everything possible including having the ports cleaned and checked on both my car USB ports...numerous different cables loads of different settings on my s23 ultra and Android auto is still persistently disconnecting from my car for no reason that seems apparent apart from issues with Samsung software being unreliable.

The forums are full of people complaining about Android auto so my question is not whether anyone has any further ideas to fix it because I have literally tried everything I can possibly think of .... even a factory reset but whether anyone has any idea if Samsung is likely to do anything about this in the near future because otherwise the way forward seems to be to switch to iPhone who are seemingly vastly superior when it comes to reliable connections in a car.

If Samsung are not doing anything about this it would seem that they do not care about their customers at all if it is not profitable to do so. Has Samsung's now since the first Galaxy and thoroughly fed up with the lack of reliability

Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK Community Forum

As far as I'm aware, Android Auto is a Google product (happily corrected if other members know differently) so your question may best be directed to the Google Community Forum.....

It's Android Auto it's a necessity for me, I love it, but hate wired or wireless endless plug and replug when the screen freezes or disconnects.

Was always told it was wired AA, wireless is the same and ***** cooks your device with WIFI, BT everything going flat out.

Have you tried updating your car infotainment firmware? Sometimes it's the units fault? Have you tried connecting another phone?
