Where are all the little icons that used to pull down before this horrible "upgrade"? Like flashlight and hotspot, etc?

Drag down from the top right of the screen for those icons. Top left for notifications. There's a setting to put it back to the old way if you don't like the new thing

Thank you for the reply. That worked perfectly. I don't know how I was supposed to know that. I absolutely detest these updates that are forced on us. But thank you for the help

After you first get one ui 7 there's a sorta welcome screen that tells you about the new things. At the end it tells you. Guessing a lot of people skip it or press next till it goes away. Seen this question a lot recently

The new layout is mutch better than the old one it's now one screen you just pull down at the top right corner it did have a welcome screen with all of this information if people just took the time to read it lol

Indeed, after all the effort Samsung put in to tell users about it... 😂

It took all of 30 seconds to read and know lol even if you didn't bother to read past the welcome screen it's not rocket science to find out 😂

Yeah I didn't read any of that.  usually after an update, the changes are so minor I don't even notice.  Had no idea it was going to be a giant re-structuring of everything on my phone.  I loved the way my s23 ultra worked.  I would be happy if nothing on it ever changed, but I know they need to sell new phones, so it seems I'll get updates every so often until the phone is so screwed up I can't use it anymore.  To me, nothing is better after the update.  it still takes pictures in way too big of a format for me to use, I have to set it to minimum.  it still calls.  it still gets text.  My apps still all run and do what they did before.  I don't see any kind of "improvement" just re-arrange stuff, hide my buttons, and make some sleeker animation for the volume control and pointless other "improvements".   just my opinion of course, I'm sure some of you technophiles have some reason why it's really great.  awesome, I'm glad you like playing with your phone.

Sarcasm?  I can't tell anymore.  Did Samsung make efforts to tell people?  Because if they did, I managed to miss it.
