Watch out with repairs in The Netherlands

Hi all,

for your information. Think twice before sending your device in to Samsung for repair.

though the website states the repair of a screen for a s23 ultra should cost €239+€15 the actual invoice I’m getting is €300 euros. (No additional work next to the repair itself)

just to make you aware the repair prices on the website are, apparently, inaccurate.

customer support will also not support you in this as they will send you to the external party where they shipped your phone towards.

regards,

Hello @Rien6

As you've posted in the UK/ Eu section of the forum I do not think anyone based here would experience this from the region your in.

I'm hoping yours is an isolated incident.

However the Samsung Service Centre you've used has a Duty of Care to provide a breakdown of the costs.

Samsung also has a Duty of Care to support you too.

In the UK, a Samsung Service Centre would communicate the cost to acquire owner acceptance of the costs before going ahead with the repair or send the phone back if the owner declined the costs.

I wish you all the best.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
