The vertical app drawer has been listed as something that is upcoming in the Home Up module since the One UI 6 update. Unless Samsung plans to bring the vertical app drawer as a feature in One UI 6.1, it makes zero sense to make people wait for a feature that was working fine in One UI 5.1.
I switched to Galaxy S24 after Google Pixel. I'm confused why there is no vertical scrolling in the application menu. How can this even be justified? I suspect that this is my first and last attempt to try something from the Samsung company. This is just a shameful copy of iOS...
Read Enshitification by Corry Doctorov. Samsung is in the process of extracting as much profit out of the platform, while delivering less and making the experience worse and worse for the consumer. We will have to find a niche product to replace this steaming pile of sh!t that is now a Samsung Phone.
I was going to buy the S24, but I guess not. This nonsense is a total dealbreaker and indicative of a company that doesn't care about usability... or people with chronic pain...
I have updated my S23 Ultra to Android 14 yesterday and today my vertical scrollable app drawer is switched back to horizontal scrolling, which is a major usability issue to me!!
How can i switch this back to vertical scrolling???
Is this feature coming with one ui 6.1?
I can no longer work with my S23 Ultra as i used to do..
