Super fast charging not listed

Just got this S23, have been using s22 for a long time, and xyl has S21, we invested a few months ago in 45W super fast chargers, current more than what we need.

However, while the S23 Ultra does super fast charge (pops up for 5 seconds) its not listed in the phones settings.

Is there going to be a fix, or do i need to return it? Like i said its super fast charging fine, but the settings does not have the usual 3 settings.

It supports super fast charging, they just don't allow you to disable it in the settings.

so why did they add it to the s22 and s21

Its the same for the Tab S8 Ultra. It also supports super fast charging but only lists fast charging. It's no big deal.

Exactly why does it make no sense? It's a redundant option in my opinion as if you have it, why on earth would you choose not to use it?

No idea why any of these options are available, but super fast charge 2.0 does work as I have a 45w charger and the regular blue charge ring does show up and get performance as I used to on S22 U

Do what I do and use the older chargers this will prevent the super fast charging and help prolong the batteries life cycle

I can understand why some owners would want this settings option.

Personally I don't always need or want my phone to push the battery by super or fast charging it.
