Dear Samsung

I'm currently having issues with my phone after installing security updates the phone is executing some instruction in a loop or something similar, because:

  • Battery drains in less than a day (phone is 1 year old)
  • It drains so fast that I can't hold the phone in my hand, it burns

Either you fix this issue or I'm going to have to sell this phone. You should be ashamed, pushing updates like this. But we all know why, programmed obsolescence.

#Battery, drain, high temperature, security, loop

Hello 👋 @radon63

The Samsung Community Forum is a user to user help and discussion forum so as such Samsung wouldn't read your post here.

You can send feedback directly to Samsung via your Samsung Members App however.

In the interim please try >

  • Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port or a usb-c to usb-c phone to phone set up to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

If the phone is getting too hit it would show a warning pop up message and in extreme circumstances auto shut down.

If this is the case then stop using the phone and seek support from a Samsung Service Centre.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
